What to know before ordering
Where can outdoor LED lights be used?
They can be installed at entrances, on façades, beneath canopies, on terraces, along paths and steps, in retaining walls, around planting and in other garden zones. We select the luminaire type for the required functional or decorative effect.
Which IP rating should an outdoor luminaire have?
The required IP rating depends on the exact location: whether the fitting is sheltered, exposed on a façade, near the ground, recessed into paving or directly affected by rain and water. Protection is therefore selected individually rather than using one rating across the property.
Are motion and dusk sensors worthwhile?
A motion sensor is useful at entrances and circulation areas, while a dusk sensor can switch lighting on automatically after dark. We coordinate the controls for convenience and to avoid unnecessary operation.
How can glare and light spill into neighbouring properties be reduced?
We select suitable mounting heights, beam angles, optics and shielding. Luminaires are aimed at the intended surfaces so they do not dazzle people, shine into windows or spread excessive light beyond the target area.
